This is the first post on my new independent reading novel, Under The Dome. I have never really been a fan of Stephen King books so far but I think that this book could be a good choice to read. All the reviews that I have read on goodreads recommend this book, so I thought, why not give it a chance. i thought that it was an interesting concept. the only other place i had seen an idea like this was in "The Simpsons Movie", which I did enjoy but this book will put a nice, darker spin on the idea and should make a good story. I like to read books with significant, concealed mysteries and everything I have read about and read in the book point to this being the case.
Under the Dome sounds like a mysterious and very interesting book. You should maybe talk about how it has any similarities or differences from the TV show.

ReplyDeleteYeah. The show is based on Under The Dome. Another very interesting book by Stephen King, but the whole point of him writing it was to not write like Stephen King. It's a good book and I recommend it.

ReplyDeleteI have seen the show, Under the Dome, and I really like it. I've heard that Stephen King's writing can be very descriptive, do you agree with that? Does he make very complex, round characters? Or are some of his characters flat? Have you seen the show? If not, you should check it out, I enjoy it.

ReplyDeleteStephen King is a great author if you like horror. I would suggest some of his other books but I cant remember the titles.
ReplyDeleteStephen King is a rather curious author, he writes a lot of horror and mind puzzling storyies that sometimes twist the boundaries of the world as we know it as well as the borders of life, death and the power of the human mind. If you enjoy reading Under The Dome and are not afraid of some violence i would recommend CELL also by Stephen King i found that i really enjoyed reading it.
